i'd consider myself a great dog; i'm terrific at finding bones. going through my cabinet i found a letter she gave me, with lots of compliments and drawings of me as a cat. most of it lost meaning to me, it's just a piece of paper of course, but got me thinking of out last conversation.
i wanted everything to come clean on out last conversation (how stupid i was back then), speaking from the bottom of my heart; and your apologies didn't seem honest. you talked as if you just wanted it to end as soon as possible, to make me already part of your past — which i do not blame you, for you were already with him; now i get it. but there was something you said that got stuck with me since then, you said: "see you later".
how come? how could i see you later? you said you didn't want to be my friends. i already knew we would never speak again in any ways — so why say it? it was like melting sugar and throwing it onto me; it doesn't hurt anymore, but it's stuck with me forever. the weirdest part to me is that these words — these goddamn and wicked words — were the part that i felt you being most sincere in all conversation.
